Turn off firewall

Does anyone know how to turn off the firewall in RC1?

any help would be much appreciated.....

I thought u did it the same way then as u do it now!! :s and isnt it turned off by deafault so u must have turned it on!

Network connection > Properties of ur net connection card > Advanced > Untick the firewall box

hope this helps in neway! or just abuse me!

Oh goodie, baphomet_ie has now his computer completly un-protected on the net, hack em for all it's worth!

Or I'm wondering If Microsoft will have an addon later on as with the plus pack for XP, the "Security pack" for XP... The essential addon for your PC running Windows XP... :) :)

actually ill probably put it back on - I was just wondering how to do it cos the firewall botches up Gnutella and eDonkey - but im running them in 2000 anywayz now - I jus wanted to know for future reference...

It's only recently that I've put on a firewall and an anti-virus program [only put the anti-virus proggie on last night]. The chances of getting hacked are SO slight that it's hardly needed. But firewalls like ZoneAlarm can monitor which programs use the internet which is a lot more useful that just stopping hackers.

yeh in my country we dont have the luxury of ADSC/cable anyway :/

so i dont have a permanent IP -

ill leave it off

maybe someday thou.......
