Processed meat 'linked to pancreatic cancer'

Recommended Posts

I think a big chunk of our health concerns would be gone if we just consumed less salt, sugar, and bad fatty acids.

Processed food is bad for this very reason - it's got too much sodium, saturated fats, and other additives and preservatives in it.

I'll eat what ever I feel like when ever I feel like eating it. Hell, just breathing the filthy air we brreathe causes cancer, so there is NO way to beat it.

Already had cancer 18+ years ago, not pancreatic, so bring the s**t on!!

It was proven some time ago that wearing underwear causes cancer also. How many of you quit wearing or never have worn underwear?

I usually take these warnings with a BIG grain of salt.

You know, I'm surprised, I was 100% expecting this to be from the Daily Fail,

I hate all the crap we hear about cancer. I honestly think that unless something is 100% proven to cause cancer (e.g. Asbestos, etc), it should not be publishable. The media is basically making us scared of living. I won't go into my pre-prepared rant about mass media's fear mongering since you're all from the internets, and you'll no doubt be aware of this.

As Wolfbane said, life is a disease with a 100% fatality rate, and we're all terminal patients, so people need to stop caring what may or may not kill them, and if they enjoy it, do it. This news has zero affect on my proclivities towards bacon and sausages, because if I stop doing everything that was bad for my health, I think I'd top myself out of boredom. What's the point of extending life to the point where we're not actually living anymore?
