Someone posing emotionally with their dead uncle

"his special day" ...facepalm!

To be fair, it's not much worse than all the ridiculous euphamisms like lost, passed away, etc. that people use to avoid simply saying that someone has died. Most deserving of special mention is "gone to god" because of the sheer stupidity of including a fictional character.

That doesn't really make sense as it has nothing to do with religion, I think that it's just a more respectful way of mentioning someone is dead. For example if someone just lost their brother and you said "Oh sorry he's dead!" vs "I am sorry that he has passed on" you tell me which is more respectful? and neither mention religion btw but even if they did it doesn't matter some people have religious beliefs (I don't personally but if someone else does that's their choice).

I don't know if you have lost someone before or how you deal with grief but I know that a lot of people are usually very sensitive around that time.

TL;DR Don't be an insensitive ******* when people are suffering! :p
