Booyah!
I notice a lot of people are falling prey to Trojans, most likely from Messaging-client activity; which does not interest me in the slightest. This freeware utility should , to some degree, calm the hysteria I constantly hear about VBS and Javascript. It checks such scripts as they are opened. http://www.astonsoft.com/products/vbsse/download/
MitchShrader
there is a small utility found at http://www.nsclean.com/freebies.html which will PREVENT the latest rash of 'google' hijacks. It is called HTAstop. Using alternative browsers will also prevent this infection. HTAstop works, whereas the MS patch does not. This avoids infection with the trojan called ByteVerify or DeludeB. It has been tested. It will not clean up after infection.
