snippet1
I don't know much about wireless LANs, but I have cabled quite a few houses (mostly friends) for networking. The first question is - what type of construcftion is your house? Can you feed cables through walls / floors? Do you mind seeing plastic housings running around the house? But seeing as you are leaning towards wireless, I have heard the 802.11g standard seems to be taking off for ADSL sharing, etc.

snippet1
Mine's a brick veneer on stumps - the best for cabling! Anyways, I'd look on PC Magazine-type sites for info on this, as well as any help you find here.
