pete2kay
Hi all, I'm currently using vyatta on vmware workstation 8. I managed to setup a lab where i connect a child and parent domain using the vyatta appliance. I already have both domains talking to each other but i'd like to know if i actually got the lab scenario correctly (if i actually setup routing between the domains), below is how i have my lab configured. thanks in advance vyatta eth0 -192.168.1.1 LAN segment 1 vyatta eth1 -192.168.2.1 LAN segment 2 Parent domain: xyz.com LAN segment 1 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2 Child domain: abc.xyz.com LAN segment 2 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.2 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.1 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.2 *Created a delegation zone on parent domain and a conditional forwarder on child domain
