Gamecube Shoot 'em ups

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have got a gamecube but I havn't bought a magazine for years and don't really trust many of the website reviews I have found thus far.

Anyway, are there any gamecube Shoot 'em ups as good as the N64's Perfect Dark or Goldeneye? I want a game as simlar as possible to these two games that is preferably as good if not better.

Any suggestions appreciated :)

Perfect Dark 2?

Is there a Perfect Dark 2?? :o

Edit - just seen your above post. Sounds good to me :D

Any more suggestions?

Edit2 - Just looked at when it said it was due to be released, and the original post date. Was supposed to come out a year ago

its not coming to the gc at all, that post is old and was made when microsft brought rare so no pd2 aint coming to the gc, as for fps games, ts2 is made by free radical who made goldeneye so thats a good choice to get (Y)

I dobut there woudl be a pc version, they hardly know how to devolop on a consoel outside of gamecube, now htey have to learn to do xbox. And didnt they promise like 5 rare games in a year?

There isnt evenone out yet. thats hilarious i bet microsoft is kicking itself for shelling out 350 mil for them. And teir first two games wont sell well as they are more games that look like they would sell better on gcn.

Rare is gone now... X-Box just wanted to buy them so they can try to put GameCube underground and because X-Box doesn't have any good games. :pinch:

I can not believe you just said *because X-Box doesn't have any good games.* , xbox has alot of great games bicycle.gif But so does the GameCube

Ok, cheers for the help guys. I was definately going to buy Metriod some time soon, but its a pity that no other game really is simalar to Goldeneye/PD: surely that has to be a winning formular? The games were a great hit.

With regard to Nightfire, I played that on the PS2 and wasn't too impressed, to be honest. Ah well.

Yes Microsoft did buy rare but... Rare is still making games for Nintendo. Rare is making games for the GBA just not for the GCN. That is good Rare is still with Nintendo.

Yeah? How much better is it than the original Timesplitters? (Which I thought was wack.......although I did play it on the PS2)
