I giggled at a lot of them but this one made me laugh out loud.

They're pretty funny except for this one (sorry if it was meant to be ironic, but this is used as an actual argument too often):

If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?

What you're saying there is "If my cousin and I share the same ancestor, why does my cousin exist?".

Except for this one:

What you're really saying there is "If my cousin and I share the same ancestor, why does my cousin exist?".

Not if your cousin was a hairy monkey from 200,000 years ago.

What makes you think monkeys stopped evolving 200,000 years ago yet humans didn't? Or do you have a time machine hidden somewhere? :D

That's a common misconception regarding the evolution model. It suggests that humans evolved from a common ancestor with monkeys/apes a long time ago.

Look at what has been said:

Me: 'What you're saying there is "If my cousin and I share the same ancestor, why does my cousin exist?".'

warwagon: 'Not if your cousin was a hairy monkey from 200,000 years ago.'

Me: 'What makes you think monkeys stopped evolving 200,000 years ago yet humans didn't? Or do you have a time machine hidden somewhere?'

In other words, I pointed out that humans are not descendent of apes, more like a cousin (which is what you seem to be trying to correct me to here?)

Anyway I'm pretty sure we both have the same view on this, you just misinterpreted mine; so hopefully you don't find that image too insulting.
