mrk Reviews Posted October 7, 2003 Reviews Share Posted October 7, 2003 I've read about these being among the finest in portable headphones and giving the clarity and quality of a more professional pair. Does anyone have these and would like to comment on them? they are quite cheap too so wanted to know if they are worth it? They look fantastic (imo) I've also read about the Rado sr60's and both get plus points on quality but the koss are cheaper. I will be using them mainly through my computer which is connected from my santa cruz to receiver. (quite serious about the quality of my audio) and as these are portable I guess they could be used with the future purchase of an MP3/mp3cd player Any info appreciated! I am currently using a pair of year and a half old Technics RPF200's so I am predicting teh quality difference to be incredible. I have noticed my current cans have degraded in lower frequencies and have lost a minor amount of stereo balance.
pmh
I don't think they look fantastic, but i dont know how they sound. i think that if you had say a bose hi quality headphones, you couldn't tell the difference.
mrk Reviews Posted October 7, 2003 Author Reviews Share Posted October 7, 2003 I know b0se make good headphones but if you compare the price to quality ratio they cannot touch the likes of seinheisser/grado/koss from what I've been reading and the local b0se store down here sells them at no less than ?150 which is WAY too expensive for me I'm afraid:|| btw, they look fantastic to me:pp - I guess I like things that look different, they aren't exactly a style statement but a look of something extra-ordinary. Or something to that effect

Troop101
The Portapro's are awesome, best sub $50 - $60 Portable Cans around. They are open headphones aswell so they would also leak a bit of sound.
