Liquid Anubis
and also another thing, the damn fans. wth!! they leave before the games over. i say get your moneys worth and stay till the end. without fans they couldnt cheer us on!:( it was a good game though, im still like...shocked. im watching a local news chan here which has a little show after every bucs game. and many callers are calling in commenting on the last call by the ref.....heh. edit: also, Dungy did an awesome job. pimpshiznid
Well, another thing is we didn't get to see the play from the right angle. For all we know, his knees could have rubbed along the players back the entire time, which would suffice for a leaping call in itself. Leaping is trying to jump and use another player to propell yourself farther, so as long as you are touching the other player while in the air, coming down or up, it is considered leaping. But the practical use in the NFL is considered that when a player jumps up and uses another player on the way up to propell , that is when leaping is called, but to break to the real fact, that is not how it is written the the rulebook. maplecookie Veteran Posted October 7, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 7, 2003 I don't think refs are ever objective. I'm sure they sit at home on their days off screaming "go! go!" at their fave teams for a touchdown.

CatnipOligarchy
lol and for all the people that counted this game for tampa as a win lol yeah i admit it, i didnt think there was any way indy was coming back at that point. i'm sure there were a few people that might have expected a battle of the undefeateds in week 6, but could anyone have ever imagined it would be Carolina vs. Indianapolis? gotta love the nfl
