go here ... h*t*t*p://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/ and download YahooPOPs. It works great and allows you to access your Yahoo mail via their POP3 setup using Outlook etc for FREE!!! Go get it now.

and i absolutely love SBC Yahoo DSL.. best service i've ever had... in my area at least... chicago suburbs, i've had @home (when it.. was @home) right after, i immediately went to directv dsl, which died, so i took sbc dsl, and it r0x3r's :p lol

they also have changed the upstream, worldwide, can read more at the dslreports.com forums under ameritech. i havn't been changed yet, but i am waiting, instead of 256kbps, ill be getting from either 256 to 384 up :)

When subscribing to SBC Yahoo , you get Yahoo Mail Plus.

Yahoo Mail Plus is originally 29 bucks a year and gives you:

- pop / forwards access (yeh!)

- 25 MB

- the possibility to archive your message in a .eml - like format that is outlook Express compatible....but you can just archive your message on a disk and read them without OE....like a text format

- stationnaries when you compose.

- You can forwardsan account under your Yahoo Mail Plus account and use this other address in the to-line when you compose....just like a mail client

- You are given more filters and more possibilities to block senders....

Yahoo is definitly the best webmail. This is not something new.

Besides you might wanna check the official demo released for the press of their new SBC browser and services, it looks a lot like MSN 8....without the Passport problems and unresolved issues:
