0 BetaAddict
http://lifehacker.co...tant-messengers Article is a bit outdated, but the list is still entirely valid to this day. I have used trillian and digsby over the past few years. Both are great, but I prefer trillian which is a bit more complete feature-wise compared to digsby. 0 Detection
Pigeon ? http://www.pidgin.im/ Haven't used it for a while, but can't you still use A-Patch for MSN and get rid of some of the crapware / download an older standalone version of it before it turned into a 2 page website ? 0 ~Johnny
Trillian is one of the best I'd say. It's delightfully light on RAM too. I have the main window open right now using only 9MB of RAM. The conversation window styling leaves a little to be desired, but it's liveable.
0 hotdog666al
Easily Miranda IM, if you can be bothered to configure it. Most minimal GUI chat client.
0 +InsaneNutter MVC Posted March 4, 2012 MVC Share Posted March 4, 2012 I went to Trillian after trying a few. I love how you can continue a chat on your mobile or desktop with Trillian, it all works seamlessly. Nice looking desktop client and mobile client, well worth looking in to: http://www.trillian.im/

Nice looking desktop client and mobile client, well worth looking in to: http://www.trillian.im/ +1 for Trillian. It has a few good skins too, if you can't stand the default (which I love personally). I actually went ahead and bought it to support the developers. I don't actually own a mobile phone, so there's no real use for the pro version. Trillian is using 18 meg of memory right now. I am connected to AIM, MSN, Gtalk, IRC, and Skype right now. I have 6 chats open, as well.
