AbandonedTrolley Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Not too sure if anyone could help or even work something out for me here. Recently my mother had her iPod touch stolen, strangely last night I received an email from it using my mothers old gmail account but now with the name of Asharf. Just a blank email saying "Sent from my iPod" so clearly it's either been sold on or it's the same person. Checked the email header and all I have is Delivered-To: a**********k@gmail.com Received: by 10.229.32.5 with SMTP id a5csp238575qcd; Sat, 3 Mar 2012 11:00:07 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.14.51.207 with SMTP id b55mr2219009eec.53.1330801206228; Sat, 03 Mar 2012 11:00:06 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: <eileenp2209@googlemail.com> Received: from mail-ey0-f172.google.com (mail-ey0-f172.google.com [209.85.215.172]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPS id d4si8816951eei.32.2012.03.03.11.00.05 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=OTHER); Sat, 03 Mar 2012 11:00:06 -0800 (PST) Received-SPF: pass (google.com: domain of eileenp2209@googlemail.com designates 209.85.215.172 as permitted sender) client-ip=209.85.215.172; Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of eileenp2209@googlemail.com designates 209.85.215.172 as permitted sender) smtp.mail=eileenp2209@googlemail.com; dkim=pass header.i=@googlemail.com Received: by mail-ey0-f172.google.com with SMTP id q11so1398243eaa.3 for <a*********k@gmail.com>; Sat, 03 Mar 2012 11:00:05 -0800 (PST) Received-SPF: pass (google.com: domain of eileenp2209@googlemail.com designates 10.14.47.137 as permitted sender) client-ip=10.14.47.137; Received: from mr.google.com ([10.14.47.137]) by 10.14.47.137 with SMTP id t9mr5338192eeb.5.1330801205730 (num_hops = 1); Sat, 03 Mar 2012 11:00:05 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=googlemail.com; s=20120113; h=message-id:from:to:content-type:content-transfer-encoding :mime-version:subject:date:x-mailer; bh=/Un07RktX0sgSmEyjjDKwiRqMmrrJMbjZR/9LRhtuhA=; b=YrH07LcGuzZFbEFaC+Rmha7zaqBg0vNQL40M90DugeeHWHwIT4ev+qPRdikFeNfG22 9l+K/aj8doYc7N7NoW0qEzP/VCE1jcWS9Bqw9+XyI80aT/V0BOjpxYD1wy7V9QeQn9jC DWOmmL9x72wC9cY0FlPenvW/hCh2S+1toqDPAQYxm6XF29mMdBqCrZRbhj4cC0qlaDVX O2KMxpGzgcXqcF1QQO29QMy5nqKA8kBh06kYrfQ/piYcTrmfxoSgdysjZ/XcjG9FRlPz b2oPzxYMAGARMu2Q5PsFXShThgU/UhTUas093DJQyC8O42EdQLFpZZBC6ebdVcTTjKng qUvQ== Received: by 10.14.47.137 with SMTP id t9mr4085682eeb.5.1330801205561; Sat, 03 Mar 2012 11:00:05 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: <eileenp2209@googlemail.com> Received: from [192.168.1.25] ([41.178.168.9]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPS id n17sm37613955eei.3.2012.03.03.11.00.01 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=OTHER); Sat, 03 Mar 2012 11:00:04 -0800 (PST) Message-Id: <2376C8ED-ED69-489E-98D8-94E9076DB079@yahoo.com> From: Asharf <eileenp2209@googlemail.com> To: Dave Patterson <a**********k@gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Mime-Version: 1.0 (iPod Mail 5G77) Subject: Date: Thu, 1 Mar 2012 10:18:19 +0200 X-Mailer: iPod Mail (7E18) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

k22 Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Did she have IOS5 installed with iCloud and "Find My iPod" enabled? http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/built-in-apps/find-my-ipodtouch.html http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ If so, go to icloud.com and login, then run Find My iPhone and if they have the WIFI turned on you should see a location where it currently is... mbowman and mak123 2 Share Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
