"Search" save in Google - Irritating! :(

Question

Ahh! Okay I had enough of this that I no longer want to ignore it and want a fix. At times when I go Google and make a search ... it auto saves this for me ...

I'm using Google Chrome and I believe that has to do with Google Instant. Any idea how I can fix it? Turn off Instant? But seems like I am still getting it.

I randomly seem to get this also in waterfox, so I assume that it is not the browser, but I have it configured so when ever it attempts to download anything (unknown) it prompts me, and I can choose cancel. Glad to see that the issue is not my browser!

I use Chrome and haven't seen this happen yet, however I have disabled Google instant. I don't now if that is related to your problem or not though.

have not seen this - how do you cause it?

I was just doing a normal search on google.com and it happens. I do have Instant Search on.

that's your problem then... try disabling fastest chrome... it sad that the developer didnt even bother to fix these issues.

Thanks! I'll keep it active, it does not bother me enough to warrant removing the add-on.
