Hey people. I used to use Sony Vegas quite heavily. But gave it a few years gap - anyways i've been editing video files in it and have saved a .veg file in vegas 11 as a backup however when i import/reload the .veg file the individual clips i've edited with velocity/speed etc and my various transition settings have all been merged into 1 file in the preview window - bearing in mind i havent re-encoded anything in this veg file at this point in a final edit - so i should have about 15-20 video clips split up for transition/editing effects - however in this veg file it has them all 'merged' in the preview window - is there any way i can set it to split everything up again? I find it odd why its done this since i havent re-encoded anything as i said
I'll show what I mean by the images below, one shows how my file used to be when it was split up
then when i saved my most recent .veg file - its merged them instead of keep them seperate
any advice is appreciated if anyone knows sony vegas quite well would be appreciated
