neophi
Hey everyone, Recently I installed a wireless broadband router in my house and connected two computers (one laptop wireless, one desktop with Ethernet cables). Ever since then I haven't been able to connect with someone (through MSN Messenger 6) with the Audio (mic.) feature, nor through Video conferencing feature. The only thing I can do is Webcam (both ways). I posted in this forum because I think it has to do with the router. So, does any one have an idea on why this happens and/or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

RaisinCain
Could be the NAT firewall on the router &/or if you are using a combo of the NAT & a software firewall (I had a similar problem when I had XP's firewall enabled.. couldn't connect to MSN Messenger most of the time & when I could, I couldn't share files with anyone). bangbang023 Veteran Posted October 9, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 9, 2003 Has to be the NAT firewall. Me and my girlfriend can't connect to each other at all using MSN, AIM, or Yahoo (for microphone, although vidoe works) and I know it's because of our routers.
