After installing Windows 8 on my Toshiba NB255-250 i noticed the audio quality was horrible, like a high pitch sound. Also while playing videos and other applications I noticed every two minutes a jerk or audio buzz clot shiz biscuit.

So I installed the proper audio drivers and I suggest you do the same replacing the Windows default audio drivers. You will notice a difference in the sound if you are using a Desktop device.
