I have read in the past that engines like google personalize your search... If this is true, then they do a terrible job! Here are a few examples
90% of the time when i search for something, I end up clicking on the wikipedia link. This is by far my most visited cite and should always be the #1 result.
Whenever I search a game title, I either click on the wiki page or the gamespot or IGN review link. These should be my 2nd and 3rd results when available.
Whenever I search a computer part like core i7 vs i5. I click on the tom's hardware link.
When I search for techy gadget stuff I click on the engadget link so this should be right up there next to wiki.
Isn't personalized search supposed to figure out what kind of information I click the most and give me that first? Is there a search engine that does that? Is there a chrome extension that would assist with this?
