#Michael
I am in need of a good network monitoring software package. Something that runs well on os x server. This is not to monitor who is using my bandwidth or what is being downloaded but to monitor the overall health of everything. I want to be able to use a variety of monitor tools and see how my router/switch/nas/server/modem/roku/etc.. are all functioning. I have been looking at Nagios and OpenNMS but I am not happy with the amount of configuring it takes. I should also mentioned that I have tried Lithium 5 and I love it but it is a little pricey. Any thoughts or suggestions?

StanJones
By any chance have you tried serverdensity ? Its a hosted internal server monitoring service for Linux & OS X, it even includes a free option. Apart from that, you might even want to check the following resource that contains multiple tools for you to choose from : slac.stanford.edu/xorg/nmtf/nmtf-tools.html
