OPaul
You address isn't returning ICMP requests, nor anything on port 21, i.e. I can't connect.
Captain Crunch
Know any good software that is easy to use?
OPaul
Well BulletProof FTP Server but I don't think it's your FTP software that's the problem. Are you behind a router? A firewall? Do you have the Windows XP firewall enabled? http://www.bpftpserver.com/

Banjo
Yep, works fine. You should leave the firewall on but click settings and allow FTP connections

OPaul
Yep, both download and upload. If you still want the XP firewall on, which I would recommend, under settings where the XP firewall tab is set up port 21 to point to the computer with the ftp software on. UnaBonger
Right i turned the xp firewall off...does it work now? :) You don't need to turn off the XP firewall. You just need to open FTP or port 21... [Edit] Ooops, OPaul beat me to it...
