patseguin Global Moderator Posted October 8, 2003 Global Moderator Share Posted October 8, 2003 Can someone recommend a good Virus program for a Windows 2000 Server? I tried McAffee but it won't install on Server.
dougkinzinger
You tried the RETAIL version. Of course it won't install on Server. McAfee's two Server-based virus scanners are NetShield 4.5.0, which was actually replaced by VirusScan Enterprise 7.0. Norton Professional runs on Server too. There you have it. patseguin Global Moderator Posted October 8, 2003 Author Global Moderator Share Posted October 8, 2003 When I look at their Enterprise products, they give me a minimum of 11 licenses to purchase. I only have one server, not 11 so I'm not sure what to do...

Frank
Go crazy, then when your done sell the other 10 licenses on E-Bay! I think that would probably be against the EULA. eBay will probably take the auction down.
