my card sucks. just check my sys info. it's built into the damn motherboard tho, i am not sure if i can replace it...i will have to investigate.

/Edit: I thought the sys info listed vid info...it's an intergrated 64MB POS vid card...i will look into getting SOMETHING better.

You could probably get a good amount for that system on eBay - then upgrade on the cheap get a:

AMD Athlon Barton XP2500+

Abit NF7-S v2.0

512MBDDR400

Geforce 4 Ti/Radeon 9500 Pro/Radeon 9600 Pro

120GBHDD

I've just got all of that (Geforce Ti4400 128MB ViVO) for just under $1000NZ - which is around $400-500US I think?

for a quick performance boost turn of xp visual styles if you can live without them. if you turn off all the visually nice (yet useless) stuff then you system has more rescources to dedicate to your games.

lol. i might get a new computer at the end of this upcoming summer. i am debating AMD vs. intel...as usual. we shall see what's out and what's performing at that point. ;)

hey, do it again but run a few programs while doing it, winamp, windows media, i dont know see if you can get 2 benchmarks running at the same time

do somthing to see if you can get a lower score!!

PCI Express is coming out 2nd quarter of 2004 (wait for this... trust me)

and by then there will be a decent prescott processor and a 2nd good motherboard for this new technology by then. wait.... you'll thank yourself later.
