Help Burning ISO

Question

I'm having a blond moment and it's driving me crazy, can somebody explain how to perform the following:

I need to burn an ISO to DVD, unfortunately the only discs I have here at the moment are DVD-RW. I have no problem writing the image to the DVD although I can't work out how to tell Nero or ImgBurn to close the DVD-RW permanently, so that it can't be erased again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

When you burn with ImgBurn the discs are always finalised.

To do it manually, look at the 'Close' functions within Tools -> Drive.

That diden't work, it still allows me to erase the DVD-RW after i've burnt the ISO. Grr.!

Tried closing the DVD-RW manually in ImgBurn as you stated above Darkfib3r although it gives me some god-damn error. This is ridiculous.

Nothing will stop you from erasing it. It will only stop you from adding to it. The whole point of an rw is to be able to erase and rerecord. You want a r not an rw.

^ exactly!! The whole point of RW is that you can erase them and reuse them.

I don't see why anyone would care to lock down a RW so that it could not be erased?? As sc302 already stated, if you don't want it to be erasable then just use a -R or +R dvd.
