Windows 8 Parody

This wasn't even funny.

"isn't funny" is becoming a clich? line on Neowin, find something new to say. Besides, no one said it was funny. :)

Was that supposed to be funny or just stupid?

You did when you posted it in the jokes and funny stuff forum and tagged it as joke

Because there's not a section on Neowin for parodies. If I posted it in Windows Beta section, it would be moved here by an admin. And tagged it as a joke? Where??

Ever since Vista, every released Microsoft product fails my only and very reasonable expectation from them: Do not remove or break features while bringing out a newer version or trying to improve upon something. Do not dumb down Windows for power users.

I was right all along about Windows 7/Vista reducing choice, customization & removing useful XP features. Now Windows 8 has removed the Start Menu and people are starting to see the point. Windows is being dumbed down for the masses by the asses, powers users, kindly go to hell.

If you read his signature, you notice the OP has no idea about at least Windows........I question if he knows anything about other topics as well.

Parodies are by definition funny. And the joke tag is right up there with the topic, next to the video tag.

Clever of you to remove the joke tag and replace it with vids, even through you already had it tagged as video

Not really that funny, at least he didn't really say anything like it's just like windows v1 which is silly. Better than most of the people who try to make jokes about Windows 8.

Windows 8 metro certainly is a bold move and as a user of WP7 I really think it has potential to make a great operating system. But with this massive change it's going to be quite hard for power users and regular users to adjust. I think metro really needs more work to be completely finished, we will have to wait for the later releases.

Windows 8 might even turn out to be a flop on desktops but suitable for tablets etc and become another Vista. But Vista really pushed forward, Windows 7 showed us that it only needed some changes and time to mature. Windows 9 might make Metro awesome on tablets and desktops, but for now lets just see how the final version of Windows 8 goes with developer backing.
