IE help plz.

Question

KnifeFace    0

I noticed when I got IE6, I couldn't go to some sites.

e g: http://www.gamewallpapers.com

If I try to enter this site my IE asks if I want to download something.

I tried with MSN explorer, and got the same.

Any suggestion how I could fix this?

Or does any-one know another browse that can enter the site, but cause no trouble with IE? so I could have them installed both.

It loads for me in IE6 (in WinXP)...although it took a LONG time for it to even show anything other than a white screen. I'm not prompted to download something however.

/ from gamewallpapers [1]

I can't open this document after I downloaded it.

Opera 6.0. It is a great little browser. It is better than Netscape IMO. They are not that far behind IE now. And very fast. Only 3.2 MB download unless you need java. http://www.opera.com/

Give it a try...everyone should. It is going to give IE a run for its money down the road a little ways.

Yeah, I must have gotten them from Windows Update (don't really remember where I got them) because I'm way to lazy to actually download them seperately.

I really have no clue what either do, if anything other than add extra info to the about box.
