Lunch is ready!

Yeah the orange stuff I assumed was ketchup, but it does claim to be a cheeseburger :| lol

I'm assuming it's meant for camping rather than blowing ?4 on a possibly crappy tasting burger at home.

I have seen that before it is actually for camping--

You place it near the fire to warm it up- the reason for the Tin is so that it would be Bear Proof-- (you know no smell of fresh meat) and you are supposed to place it in the fire when you are done to burn the remainder inside the can.. (this will get rid of the food smell).

This makes it easy and also - Water Proof as well -- should you dunk in a canoe -- ...

It is also found in survival catalogs too...

Supposed to not spoil in 5 years... (shelf life)

That's clever.

How's the taste?

The one I had-- the ketchup was sweet and the bun was a bit soggy-- but -- good enough for a "field" meal-- better than what you could have came up with- or not-- For example fishing and not catching a thing...
