Sierra
Is it ok to use ZA ONLY to block popups and scripts and another firewall, which doesn't have these feateres, at the same time?
mAcOdIn Veteran Posted October 10, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 10, 2003 I wouldn't. Software firewalls generally don't play nice with eachother. You can try though, but I'd say just get a firewall that does everything you want.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted October 10, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 10, 2003 why would you want to do this? If you wan't you can get a popup blocker to block the popups at least.
PCKing
yes, you are wasting resources bad... it is completely pointless. Get 1 good FW and you will be fine...
liar2
yeah, i've got a friend who was stupid like that... he installed blackice and ZA pro. they don't play nice with each other at all. and now, his ZA Pro is screaming at him over everything. if anything, just get a nice popup blocker and a good firewall and you'll be set. MitchShrader
meaya popup blocker is nice. . . i'd look around for a pop up stopper i liked, and get a rusty fork, corkscrew, blowtorch, and maybe some holy water and remove ZA with extreme prejudice IF it was me..
