News Anchorman Attacked with Eggs and Yogurt While Live on TV

The discussion at the live studio of local ?Epirus TV? was about development and growth, when a rain of yogurt and eggs started to ?explode? on the shofalling on the anchorman. Prime time news of ?Epirus TV? was on its highlight on Friday night, when a group of people entered the live studio. Chanting slogans they hurled eggs and yogurt at the news anchorman Panayiotis Bourchas, while the studio guest escape the attack reacting in winds speed.

After protesters run out of ?ammunition?, Bourchas return in front of the camera and quoting some protesters, said that the attack took place because he had invited a member of extreme right group ?Chrysi Avgi? to an interview. Edited by manifesto

I really do not see eggs and yogurt as all that extreme personally. In fact I would say that is a pretty peaceful protest as far as protests go. Childish and immature, sure I will give you that, but extreme, not IMO.

True, and sometimes I think it would be useful to have protests like this in America, instead of just standing around in the streets and taking photos of each other getting arrested. Fear of physical retribution for failed policies would be more effective than, "Oh look darling, the peasants are revolting, let's go back inside where they won't attempt to follow us."

Anybody here speak Greek btw? I have no idea what they're saying.
