I want to have the icons on the desktop bigger but when i do it in "Display properties" the icons in the start menu also gets bigger and i dont want that...do you know what i mean? Scorcho Posted January 14, 2002 Share Posted January 14, 2002 unless you're using insanely god-like resolutions, it's a pain to have 128x128 icons on your desktop because every single window/start menu will attempt to use 128 icons as well. if you want to move to 64x64 or 72x72, go to your display properties (where you change your MSStyles or Windowblinds if you use them) and click on advanced. choose 'Icon' from the pulldown menu and enter 64 or 72 in the size field.
