Your parents must be insane. No kid is going to appreciate the value of such a car when it is just handed to them on a silver platter.

I have had to earn every single damn thing I own. Nothing was ever given to me and I would not have it any other way. There is no better satisfaction than knowing you have worked hard and earned that nice shiny sports car.

****beans keldyn, you're right. i hate people who get things just handed to them...it shows that some people just dont and probably cant work for their own welath. tell him to return the piece of crap and have him put you to work for minimum wage and work for your own ****ty 89 ford escort.

as with keldyn ive paid for just about everything that i have, and im only gonna be 17 in december. paid for my first car, paid for my new car (almost $7000 USD), the insurance for my car, my cell phone, my computer, my entertainment (TV, music, DVDs, etc), food most of the time, and I usually buy my own ****ing clothes. why? because granted everyone loves to be given things, some people like working for the rewards they get out of it.

do you even have a job?

wow shut up man.... i'm just more fortunate than you, its just that simple. my parents are generous and they're willing to spend money on me. give it a rest!

All I'm saying is man get a job and work for your own good, don't just take things. Shows how people can just throw money around like that and not even put it towards theirselves.

And "god" bless america for what? 4.78 USD for a gallon of gas is ****in bull****...here the highest its gotten is 2.07 or so...now down to 1.62.

my point is work for what you get...so you shut up man, and like keldyn said no one can appreciate what they have if they didn't earn it. getting things for grades in school is ****ing bull****. the only thing you should get from grades is a compliment from your damn parents.

Quit kissing keldyn's ass, and you've been rambling about so many things i've lost track.

God bless the Aussies toO! :p

Boycott? Against the government? How about you get a goddamn reality check? It's mainly taxes that makes the price that high!

no kidding its taxes, but if you didnt buy the gas, no one would be making money off of it. take away their source of income, and no ****ing taxes. and just so you know, most people have the right to petition the government (in the US it was put in the Constitution). I'm sure most anyone can do it unless your government is that oppresive.

So all you people who've said he's "SPOILT" for getting the car from his parents, you reckon he should have refused it??? "Hmmm sorry mum, dad, I really can't accept this, I'd much rather have to work my ass off for a car of a far lower standard because I'll apprieciate it more"... GET REAL!!! :p

My parents are pretty generous too, they're paying for all my driving lessons and if they get me a car I'll be so HAPPY! I have a job but seein money leak out my bank account is so painful... I'd much rather sumthin get given to me! Hell blixkin.. ur a Lucky guy and that is ONE SWEET CAR :D Enjoy it!!!

hmmm... anyone see a problem here? 15 going on 16 yr olds driving around in jeeps?

Yea here is why 15 and 16 year olds don't need jeeps

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/...0,6777817.story

"Jullian and friends Jeanne Haygood, 15, and Casey Burris, 16, said it wasn't like Monica to skip school and go off-roading with friends Friday. They said Monica got carried away because her best friend, Maryon Haught, had received a Jeep for her 16th birthday.

Issued her drivers license two days earlier, Maryon had taken Monica and three other classmates for a spin with the top down on her new Jeep.

Troopers said Maryon was speeding on Round Lake Road in Lake County when she lost control on a curve, rolled the Jeep through a fence and slammed into a tree.

Ashley Weamer, 15, who broke her back in the accident, was in serious condition at Arnold Palmer on Monday night. Maryon and Brandon Seawright, 16, were listed in stable condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center while Jeremy Berdahl, 17, had been discharged from the hospital.

On Monday, Monica's parents, Donnie and Maryanne Faison, made funeral arrangements for their eldest daughter. They hoped that people remembered their daughter as a spunky girl who loved to play ball, not as a student who once made a wrong choice.
