Sikh
I need a good VNC Viewer for windows or mac that can remote into mac / linux. I've been googling and Chicken of the VNC seems like it, but I tried it and no luck.
Reacon
I used TightVNC once to control a remote ubuntu server. It worked pretty charmingly.
Sikh
I was looking into TightVNC. I can use the client to connect to any VNC server correct? Like mac's built in vnc server?

I've used TightVNC with pretty good results, just make sure that the VNC port is open on the server's firewall. I think the default port that it runs on is 5900, but I'm not certain.
