0 S_Herbie
The form can just sit over the top of an existing table or query... Can you provide some more information on what you are trying to do?
0 mkol
Hello thanks for the reply. I have a database with various tables. I am trying to built a form like you said where it can sit on the top of the database so I can update the database with people names, addresses, email addresses via filling in to this form. Rather than doing it in to tables. How do I design this this form?

0 S_Herbie
Hello thanks for the reply. I have a database with various tables. I am trying to built a form like you said where it can sit on the top of the database so I can update the database with people names, addresses, email addresses via filling in to this form. Rather than doing it in to tables. How do I design this this form? 2007 changed things a little but the built in design tools should still help. I don't have Access 2007 installed on this machine but from memory, click on the Create tab and then click on Form Wizard (if you don't fancy creating one from scratch). Once you have created a form in the wizard you can play around with it in design mode... The link below is to a tutorial you may find useful - should only take half an hour or so: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/training/create-forms-for-a-new-access-2007-database-RZ010291967.aspx
