How to create a Form to input data for the current database using Access 20


Question

Hello Guys,

I am trying to create a form in Access 2007 for a existing access database to input data. I don't have much idea regarding how do I do this using access 2007. Can you guys please help me.

The form can just sit over the top of an existing table or query...

Can you provide some more information on what you are trying to do?

Hello thanks for the reply. I have a database with various tables. I am trying to built a form like you said where it can sit on the top of the database so I can update the database with people names, addresses, email addresses via filling in to this form. Rather than doing it in to tables. How do I design this this form?

2007 changed things a little but the built in design tools should still help.

I don't have Access 2007 installed on this machine but from memory, click on the Create tab and then click on Form Wizard (if you don't fancy creating one from scratch).

Once you have created a form in the wizard you can play around with it in design mode...
