glazzz
Umm if people are going to buy/doqnload crappy versions done with a video camer with people coughing and walking in front of the camer, just to watch the movie, I really dont think people will care about the dots lol. Plus if the people tho taped them, couldnt they just export the frames, edit it in photoshop and then reencode the video?P.S. I go see one movie with those things ruining the movie and I'll stop going to the theaters and just downlaod em. the dots are there to tell the mpaa where the rip was made, not to detract from the quality of the film
OrangeSoul
I dont know what people found special in kill bill, the music was irritating, old asian B-movie style music, did you see the clothes Daryl Hannah wore? thats from the 60`s comic books, which is what kill bill was, a comic book story too corny to be taken seriously as a revenge movie, the action scenes were not special except for GoGo vs Black Mamba, besides that all Mamba was doing was slashing and hacking in no coherent manner, and i expected the fight between CottonMouth and Mamba to be longer, it lasted 30 seconds of fighting and 4 minutes of talking. and plus that blood was soo un-real. style is one thing but making it fake un believable style is bad
devBrian
QT is a brilliant director. Kill Bill was GREAT. I thought it'd be a bust, but I should NEVER have doubted his skill, my GOD.
one321
I heard that too. I just assumed they were beeping out the womans name to add some mystery to her identity. There were beeping out Uma Thurman's character's name. I guess we are not supposed to know who she is yet. I did not see the dots when I went to the movie. I am going to be looking harder for them now. I am still a little confused about what the dots even do...

Manksgloob
heh, her name is just "The Bride" so far. also about the dots -- they're not to make it impossible/difficult to video tape and later encode digitally. the dots will just be dots. the only reason they have them is so that the production companies can tell WHICH theater the movie had been recorded in. i believe some one else said this earlier. Asmo
I can't beileve that those lil watermark dots ruined the movie for anyone, maybe the theatre that you saw it at was messed up somewhat, just cuz they had all new gear dosnt' mean they set it up right.
