drnibbles Posted January 14, 2002 Share Posted January 14, 2002 Hi Guys I've been told that this is the forum to be in if you need help from the pros. My last resort. This is the story. I have 5 networked computers in a workgroup all with the same login. I have file and print hareing enabled. Everyone is logged in as admin. I have on one of them installed a Epson 680 printer. It works fine on that computer. I have shared it with full rights. I have installed the drivers for the printer on another computer and tried to print on the shared one and nothing happens. It opens the printer window and i see the job. If i look around the prefs it says something about that it has no access, i have never found it this hard to share a printer before. All the computers are in the same work group. They can all browse the network and each other. There is nothing wrong with the connectivity. It's just that I cannot have it print. Any ideas. loki_rising Posted January 15, 2002 Share Posted January 15, 2002 have you don the microsoft solution, ie uninstall the printer and the reinstalled it. Have you tryed it on another computer and another printer. What service pack are you running? I know these are the easy answers but always start with the easy work your way to the hard.
