Mohamez
As you surf the Web, information is being collected about you. Web tracking is not 100% evil -- personal data can make your browsing more efficient; cookies can help your favorite websites stay in business. But, says Gary Kovacs, it's your right to know what data is being collected about you and how it affects your online life. He unveils a Firefox add-on to do just that. Whatch this video it's about 6min long: Download the firefox Add-on from here: https://addons.mozil...ddon/collusion/ FiB3R 1 Share

PNWDweller
If you are one to clear your browser's history, cookies, cache upon quit in Firefox, it isn't cleared as completely as you think. I didn't know this existed until stumbled up on it myself: about:permissions When you go in there, you will see every site you have been on. I clear my cache and history on quit, but was surprised to see this data in there. I am not hiding anything, but rather prefer to keep my history private as I do a lot of work on client sensitive data on my sites I manage. SuperKid
There is that law in the UK now where sites have to inform you that they are storing a cookie on your computer, so it sort of is taking action here in the UK with sites tracking you. But cool app, don't think i'd find it useful though myself but quite cool.

+M2Ys4U Subscriber¹ Posted June 9, 2012 Subscriber¹ Share Posted June 9, 2012 When it first launched it leaked memory like crazy. Probably better by now but meh. It was intriguing to see just how many domains were touched by a day's browsing, but I've found Ghostery to be the extension that really opened my eyes to just how much tracking was going on by nearly every website.
