Zombie9920
I just tried it again and it still isn't working for me. :( I just fired up my registry editor and I looked under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerMyComputerNameSpace and there isn't even an entry for {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}] in there. Hmm, thats odd. I'm gonna play around with this until I get it. :p
Zombie9920
Ahh, I figured out the problem. There was a space in between the 2 r's in Current Version and there was a space between the 4 and the 0 in 6545FF040. Thanx for the entry man. LunaC
Sweet! Thanks, that even put it in windows explorer again. I was missing having it there.
JFig24
I imported the registry entry that puts the recycle bin in My Computer and it worked without a problem. However, this is what I am faced with....each time I right click on the recycle bin located in My Computer and press Empty Recycle Bin, Windows Explorer crashes on me. Any ideas? skitz.com
Maybe because the recycle bin was never designed to be used in this way. For one I cannot understand why you should go to such great lengths in not displaying the recycle bin upon the desktop, and yet not activate the option to delete files directly and not move them to the recycle bin. (although in TweakUI for XP and in the other versions the option to not display the recycle bin works fine)
