dead.cell
Think about it for a second, why would they build in a second analogue stick and split the 3DS and XL users down the middle, developers wont take advantage of it because not everyone has the circle pad addon so its just a waste of money including it. Well, if they were going to make this thing after all, why not? http://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-3ds/accessories/3ds-circle-pad-pro-gamestop-exclusive/98636
threetonesun
I thought the current 3DS looked like a kids toy, I think this is even worse. Well... it is a kid's toy.
TheLegendOfMart
Well, if they were going to make this thing after all, why not? http://www.gamestop....exclusive/98636 They built that to please Capcom for Resident Evil, they are trying to keep costs down which is why they arent including a power supply with some of the XLs, thats why they didnt build the 2nd stick into the device. ~Johnny
Well... it is a kid's toy. Not particularly. That's like calling a smart phone a kids toy because they can play angry birds on it. It's not, It's a gadget for everyone to use :3 (That, and kids can't really enjoy it properly as they're advised not to use the 3D much)
nominak
honest question - why is that obvious? How isn't it obvious? Bigger screen = no need to buy second WiiU GamePad if you own 3DS XL. Could happen.
compl3x
Well... it is a kid's toy. It's a kids toy in the same way all books are children's books if the kid can read.
Blackhearted
Looks so much better with a big screen, I'm definately gonna grab one. Just hope it gets a proper 3d mario and Zelda. You do realize games and such will actually look slightly worse on that due to the screen size going up but resolution remaining the same, right? Also, Mario 3d Land or Zelda OoT3D aren't proper games for their series?

Probably not likely, Nintendo use a proprietary streaming technology / chip in their WiiU gamepads to stream from the system, which the 3DS doesn't have. dead.cell 1 Share
threetonesun
Guys, I'm not trying to say we're all kids for playing with a DS, but I do think Nintendo's target market is slightly younger than the average Neowinner.
