BroadBand in bed

Recommended Posts

broadband on the couch is easy for me , my linux box (server/router) is under the sofa so I can compile a new kernel while watching cable TV or playing XBox live ;)

Oooh, sounds like fun! Let's play "Compile the Kernel" and "Insmod the Drivers"!!

Oh what antics await you!!

Unless he plans on releasing bodily wastes into the womans mouth, sure.

4hours? short dude :)

im lucky, my network connection is right next to my bed, so is my plug. laptop is only an old celery 500, but its sweet for browsing + stuff.

somewhere out there, i bet some idiot has designed a complete desktop solution for people in hospital beds... now that would totally rock having one of them at home :) is it a catheter? you woudlnt need to get up to go do a number 1 anymore! number 2 is different, but a drill, and a perfectly positioned ass would sort that out :)

for about two weeks i was able to use my computer in bed. i had a projector that was leant to me by my boss, and i had it up on the wall in my room. giant white wall + prpjector = over 100" screen!! :D

it was so great for watching movies.

hahaha that made me almost spit my Coke out :p

I wish I had a laptop with a wireless net connection! I already have a bathroom in my room so all I'd need is a mini fridge and I'd be all set :woot:

Then again that would mean I'd never leave my room...oh well!

well I havent posted anything utterly useless in a while so I thought i'd tell you how much broadband in bed rocks.

See with a laptop and a piece of CAT5 into my bedroom I can surf up the cyberweb without even moving the suitcases. Hell i've done an essay this morning and uploaded it to university without even "getting up"

Laptop is on a small table right by my bed so I dont even need to move elsewhere in the room

Dang you actually had to use CAT5...

I use 0 wires (wireless)

Buying the wireless router was one of the best things I've purchased in a while. I can pick up any laptop that we have in the house (3 in total), and just do what I want from where ever.
