Are WLM 14 users being forced to update?

This crap popped up on my screen today

Is this rolling out for all V14 users? I have no intrest in the V15 version as I tried it out and the Facebook stuff doesnt even work....

I believe that if you set the app compatible in "msnmsgr.exe" with Windows 2000 you'll still be able to use WLM v14 on Windows 7 etc.

I believe you should be able to keep using the latest version of 14, that's the last one supported for Windows XP and you could happily run that on Windows 7 too.

Thanks :) I was running it in Vista compatility mode since it was the highest version before Windows 7.

Why would liking Metro imply that he must like everything that's new?

I don't know about him but I tend to like whatever is best suited to my needs regardless of whether it's newer, it doesn't seem that far fetched to me that he could consider Metro a great UI design without feeling that WLM 15 is a great improvement.

My guess is it's less about being frightened of WLM 15 because it's new as it is not needing WLM 15's new features while desiring features it removed.

I dunno about updating, but, WLM sucks. It used to be good when people used it like 10 years ago.. now I think I have 3 people online at the most.. and none of them ever talk lol
