sworph
Its all well and good changing the size of your icons and they do look great but it changes all your icons in the Start Menu as well and that looks ****, especially at 72+. Is there a way to change the size of individual icons on the desktop ? Your looks great Dazzla
MulletRobZ
On 9x. I'd use 32 ? 32. On XP, which I currently have, I use 48 ? 48 since I don't know how to get er up to 96 ? 9:D :D

There isn't a set way, there are workarounds, but they involve compromises. For starters you could set all your folders to "tiles" view, this would leave the explorer size at 48 x 48. Get rid of all the options on the right hand side of the startmenu. Turn off autoplay. Change the Places bar/common to less then 3 or 4 icons (if using 72 x 72 or below) or just turn it off. The last two require the use of Tweak UI. Webgraph, to change to above 72 x 72, you need to change a value in the registry, if my memory serves me correctly, its Current_User/Control Panel/Desktop/WindowMetrics/ there is a key called "Shell Icon Size", modify that to what you want. Then you either need to restart or rebuild the icon cache (again with tweak UI)
