Kids and old games

Recommended Posts

Here on the EGM site are some kids playing old school games and making remarks about those game some of us grew up with. Some of those kids don't know how far the video game industry came. All those kids care about is "graphics" and not game play. Some of those games they review are still fun to play today. Here is the link. <<<Click here>>>.

Misguided brats! Heck I'm only 20 and I'm feeling old now, Super Mario Bros. was top of the line graphics when it came out! Anybody who doesn't under stand the power of the paddle on the Atari controller should not be gaming! LOL this is a sad sad article.

Brian: What's this supposed to be?

EGM: Football. It's one of the first great portable games.

Brian: I thought it was Run Away From the Dots.

John: I don't see how this has anything remotely to do with football.

EGM: Which team are you playing?

Kirk: The red lines.

Tim: They could've just as easily called this game anything?Baseball, Bowling, Escape From the Monsters.

EGM: Did you score?

Kirk: I bumped into a dot.

hahahaha i was laughing my ass off reading that. funny stuff:yes:s:

Wow, wonder what they'd say about living in a world without video games, where Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, and Silly Putty were state-of-the-art stuff.

Re Space Invaders: "I'm sure everyone who made this game is dead by now." Yikes. :p The game had lines out the door. Playing Tic-Tac-Toe with the handheld "Merlin" thing was cutting edge....
