Aaron Veteran Posted October 18, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2003 (edited) I can't figure out how to download music I bought on one computer to another computer. Specifically I bought a song at work and now want to download it to my home system. What am I missing? Edited October 18, 2003 by armeck

WS togermano
You install itunes on the other computer and burn the file songs on to a cd or send them in email or network and click on the song and it will open itunes and ask u for ur email and password more info at http://www.info.apple.com/usen/itunes/musi...r_authorization
redrope
I have a question. Couldnt you just burn the songs to a CD, rip as MP3 and just send them wherever?

Aaron Veteran Posted October 18, 2003 Author Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2003 Well that kinda sucks. One good thing about buymusic was the ability to re-download. Of course that was probably the only good thing.
redrope
you could but then the quallity would suck Why wouldnt it be the same as what you originally had it as? Its not like Im compressing the song..
gigapixels Veteran Posted October 18, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2003 Or, you could take redrope's idea, but burn them to a data disc instead of an audio disc. Then you would be all good. ;)
WS togermano
then you would have protected aac files on a cd instead of ur hd

Actually that's exactly what you're doing when you rip the song from the originally compressed AAC file. AAC-->RAW-->MP3, it's still the original AAC just in another form.
