Pamela Anderson urges KFC boycott

because that's how 90% of the world thinks? Oh my god he formed a standard statement meant to show his distaste of your arguments and his want to insult you! OH MY!

You took another approach often used, you tied a compliment into an insult about something you casually noticed. Meant to show you as none aggressive while still being aggressive. OH MY!

Don't make this thread digress into nitpicking other people's style.

Bah you're just being silly, it was clearly nothing more than a nudge to JHAres post. If you take that as an insult you must be really troubled. Now if you excuse me I'm gonna go eat some low quality chicken and watch some wrestling.

As a member of PETA I must say that I support PETA in it's effort to stop KFC from the brutal treatment of it's birds.

We're talking LIVE scaldings here, How would you like me to hang you up and pour hot water over you? Wouldn't you rather have a swift and painless death first?

Let's see........we have a washed up hasbeen silicon implanted (no wait she took those out), no wait, I think

she still has them in her brain) boob (sorry about the pun!), who's saying that a company that produces

FOOD, that humans consume isn't treating its source of income properly?

EARTH to blondie, hello?  hello?  Last time I checked, the HUMAN race was at the top of the FOOD CHAIN.

Deal with it!!! If you want to eat sticks and berries, that's your right as a citizen of the USA, but if I want

to slaughter a cow, pig, chicken or whatever else I want to eat, and do it within the law, then go screw

yourself.....no wait, she's already done that too.

Just another washed up hasbeen trying to stay in the spotlight.

:alien:

Pure and utter GOLD!

Seriously, that's the funniest thing I have read in very long time. Thanks!

i used to work at kfc and i was told about all this by one of my managers. one of the cooks once said that they gave the chickens steriod-like substances to give them bigger breasts, thighs, and etc, but i dont know if thats true, this guy wasnt the sharpest tool in the shed. its not right that they do this, but after working there, i know KFC is a very greedy company. anything and everything they can do to get a few extra dollars they will do. so they dont care about the chickens, they just do whatever it takes to get customers to buy their product. pamela anderson has a point, but i dont think much, if anything will change.

Name a company that doesn't do anything to get more money. Welcome to capitalism (no I'm not a commie, communism is a retarded idea because people WANT.)

Anyway, it's pointless to debate this, either you believe that chickens have feelings and whatnot, or you don't. Either eat KFC or don't, it's obvious no one is going to make any difference by arguing about it here; if you eat KFC, you're not going to stop because of this, and if you don't, you're not going to start because of this, so save your time and energy...

All you bleeding hearts quit eating chicken until they come with a certificate of authenticity stating that the chicken was fed well, has some warm milk before bedtime, and read a nice fairytale every time it went to sleep at night.

Really want to know the truth about how those 750 Million chickens we eat are raised?

I live in Tennessee Chickens around here are bred for 2 purposes, Show and Food.  The show chickens basically do have presidential suites.  They are fed top notch food, often costing twice as much in a month than what it would take to feed your self.

The food chickens are raised in a long cage, which is divided into sections.  First you have the incubator, where the eggs are placed for hatching.  This is a fairly good size cage, well it's not a cage really, cause the truth is, there is no light allowed into the chicken coops.

As teh chickens get bigger and bigger, they are stuffed into larger pins.  Yea literally stuffed.  a 5ftx5ftx5ft will probably be stuffed with about 40 - 60 chickens.  They are fed the equivelent of baby food for an adult 30 years old, who is really not wanting to eat it, but to survive you must eat it.

You guys act like its not really a big deal, were just going to eat them right?  Put yourself in their position, what if we was a race of animals bred for the sole purpose of food.  You guys really dont think about that much do you?

Sure Pamela Anderson has given more handjobs than any other girl we'll ever meet, and her p*ss probably looks like a bag pipe sagging all over the place.  But atleast she is getting her head in the right place this time, instead of in a guy's lap.

Maybe those of you laughing about it and criticizing someone pushing for a more humane way of treating the things we consume should get your faces out of some guy's lap.

Just think, the more confined a chicken is, the more it spreads disease.  Did you know salmonela didn't start to become a big issue till they started confined breeding.  Also, did you know the White to Brown Meat ration has decreased since confinement, you find yourself eating brown meat more than white, also this drives the cost of white meat up, which means you are probably paying 5 bucks a lbs for white meat.

Think before you start saying crap like "roflmao:)"  and "lmao lmao "

cause its really not funny.

good post (Y)

Well said. I know that these poor chickens get treated very badly indeed.

A long time ago my uncle worked for a chicken processing plant here in South Australia, what he described was really very frightening.

For once Pamela is thinking of something other than her boobs, and about time too.

I don't think that fair treatment of caged animals is funny.

I also will not stop eating KFC, it's just too damn tasty, but if it means I pay an extra 5% and the animals get treated humanely then I'll be happier.

Would it be that hard to condition a human into believing that living in a cage and being grown for food is the equivalent to freedom? If that's the only thing the person knows, then it shouldn't be too hard. You can pretty much tell humans anything I think, 80 hour work weeks and slave wages could be the most patriotic thing you can do. Could it?

Of course like in the book 1984, would a human naturally know that they're not free, or are living in opressive conditions? Or would their have to be a thought provoked in their mind, to "wake up" and see what was wrong.

I work at Whole Food Market. It's not a very large grocery store chain, but it's growing. Anyways, the meat products we sell are not from farms who practice inhumane farming methods. Confinment, force feeding, steroids, hormones, and etc. Most of the corporate farms are ran this way, it just means more profit in the end. I think the people here who believe that this is no big deal were to able to see what was going on with their own eyes (me included, I avoid fast food chains more than ever now though) it would probably change their minds.

PETA is so amazingly backwards it worries me that so many teenage kids get lured into their way of thinking.

I am all for the humane treatment of animals, but lets not humanise them with thoughts and emotions, which they scientifically are not equipped to possibly have.

Also, at what point did people start doing things because Pam Anderson said so?

animals don't have emotions eh? seriously, there are so many instances I've seen to contradict that.

Because their brains are smaller doesn't mean a thing...we only use 10% of our giant brains, while animals use more like 90%. Since when does size of brain matter? what de sthat size give us? Are microchips any worse than the giant processors of the 80's computers?

wow...powerful pics man...especially the one with the chickens hanging by their feet...so much blood... The first 2 show the side effects of their treatment very well. The last I believe are the diseased ones they discard aren't they?

I remember working at a pork cut factory and we'd always get a few pigs where their muscles and cartilage have turned to a grey liquid...it was very, very disturbing to think what you might find in your food, or what lurks there that you cannot see
