Dazzla Veteran Posted October 18, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2003 Play.com cheapo offer, 2 for ?12.99, a couple of oldies that I haven't added to my collection. One of the choices isn't mine, which 2? I've made my choice, or see if there's a better combo here. Take into account that a load of them are crap and any decent ones I've probably got. mAcOdIn Veteran Posted October 18, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2003 R. Dogs and Bad Boys here. While Saving Private Ryan is better than Bad Boys from an artistic sense I can watch Bad Boys over and over without getting bored, Saving Private Ryan's a movie I don't pull out that much. Icarus ^i^
Of those listed, I'd go for res dogs and private ryan... I'd recommend skipping Ryan to get the Band of Brothers boxset instead.

Yeah, Timan said it was pretty widely available in the US. I had to get mine from Ireland because they were sold out within like a 100mile radius from where I live. Timan Veteran Posted October 19, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 19, 2003 (edited) BoB tin set is limited, if you go into bestbuy or some other store they got it in a crappy cardboard box, lame if you ask me, http://i13.ebayimg.com/03/i/00/b7/7a/7e_1.JPG also there will be a new BoB! this time in the pacific theater! w00t also I say get SPR easily, cause its world war 2 and it rocks :) and since I havnt seen Reservoir Dogs get Bad Boys, cause its good. Icarus ^i^
Got the BOB boxset, limited edition tin as well ;) U ******, I'm stuck with the paper box ;) The tin ones sold out very quickly around here, but this summer I was surprised to see truckloads of them in every movie store in singapore... even the smallest corner shop had tin-boxes... but then again, ppl there prefer to buy everything on vcd instead of dvd...I already had my paper one so I didn't bother buying it again. Dazzla Veteran Posted October 20, 2003 Author Veteran Share Posted October 20, 2003 I struggled to get it, Swindon, Bristol, Bath and Reading were all sold out so I asked in a forum and a guy from Ireland bought it from me. Anyway, the vote speaks. I bought Reservoir Dogs and Saving Private Ryan. And Bad boys  so of course I needed another one so I bought Get Carter for a nice even 4  Cheers guys
