Ravager
That sucks. I knew iTunes for windows was crap the second I started it up... Get Winamp 5 BETA. Awesome app.
Trust
That sucks. I knew iTunes for windows was crap the second I started it up... I agree with that. And take something more simple and 'powerful', foobar. Freeware with a pretty cool eq :D
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted October 19, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 19, 2003 Check in My Documents\My Music\iTunes Library as that's the default place for iTunes to put it's music. If you set it to copy over your music to it's folder, they're probably right there.
Elliott
Foobar and Winamp are only more powerful with plugins. iTunes has more power than them right from the start. ;) And yea, I would check where Timdorr said. I wondered where my music went on my Mac when I copied it over and started up iTunes. :p

sh4ners
nothing is there.. not sure what it did.. but it also made other dirs and moved song around in its own dir.. that odd
Tran
If you remove a song from the list, make sure you only remove it from a list and not from your HD. Also, when you change the defaul folder location it's going to ask if it can organize it or something. What it will do is organize your songs in Folders and Sub-Folders. kainashi
nothing is there.. not sure what it did.. but it also made other dirs and moved song around in its own dir.. that odd there is a setting to turn that off, you know...

After some simple configuring, it was perfect for me. The library is awesome.

kenterlogic
now i am afraid to uninstall. but i probably wont anyhow because i just reformatted my PC to run Wink2k3 Server and lost most of my music-- I wouldnt mind a shared library with my G4 Tower right about now (I have to do something about the subnet masks though). I also agree that Winamp 5 is much nicer than iTunes for constant use while doing other stuff. But for media management, burning and iPodding-- it definately take the cake. BTW, does anyone know if iTunes for Windows has auto-sync just like the mac version? Kazaa Lite + eDonkey + WinMX + BitTorrent + iPod + ITunes Windows = HAHAHAH **** YOU SOCIAL CONTRACT TO NOT STEAL IN A CIVILIZED WORLD!!!!
