caustiK
hey guys, if you're bored, please visit my band's website and give us a listen. http://www.simplesidemusic.com/ -> Music we're a semi-hard rock band from tennessee, and we've been playing together for a few years now. i would say you could compare us to creed/default/nickelback type bands. if you would like, sign our guestbook! if you would like to give *constructive criticism* that would be good too, but please don't just say "you suck". unless you're talking about the website because i designed it ;) rock on, neowin!
redrope
Sounds alright. Its not my style of music, so dont take what I said bad or anything. What do you record with/what do you play in the band? Edit - I like Voice the most. :)
snocked
Nothing new. Do something different than sounding the same as bands before you.
123_kid
"Is It Over Now" you guys sound exactly like Nickleback/Default. The lyrics are a little bit shallow. Lyrics should be universal but those are a little bit too much. "Voice" I like the begining, esprecally the drums. Nice semi-breakdown at about 1:50 into the song. The lyrics are alright but still, a little more insight into what sparked the song would be nice. "Light" Good instruments but the lyrics are lacking in my opinion. The whole song is about a light that surrounds you and what not. Try to find an object that bridges the abstract light into something a little bit more physical. Like in the song "firefly" by Saves The Day, the lead singer bridges light into the feeling he gets from thinking about a certain someone.(word is that he is gay so I don't know if it's a girl or not). Either way, he says "to me you are the light, from a lightbulb breaks sometimes, and the tender warmth inside, is released into my life". Something like that is much better than just saying you are surrounded by light. Of course, that's just my opinion. I'm sorry if I offended you...taking critiscism is what I hate the most so I only try to help out if the person specifically asked for it. Try to diversify your sound, get deeper lyrics, and keep at it :).
