Most.. pointless.. stunt.. ever!

Fair enough its pretty impressive to do something like this but.. one wonders quite what the point was.

I think most people will agree that he actually did stay in there for 44 days, it was shown 24/7 on SKY Interactive in the UK.

Just all seems kind of pointless to me....

Notice he was taken away in a NHS ambulance, surely someone with as much money as he has should have paid for BUPA instead of making us foot the bill!

the man is too cool

just watching him leave his box after being in it with only water (no food) for 44 days. :woot:

"the man is too cool"

Jesus freakin christ! Your definition of being "cool" is to be a complete ######?

Hes a magician, ppl are so keen to believe in the surreal that common sense just leaves the building (take Derren Brown for instance..).

Watching him leave the box was the most boring TV I've seen in years.. a stupidly boring end to a mind numbingly dull stunt.

If he did this for himself, to develop as a person, wtf did he do it in the middle of london and on live tv.

too many are willing to judge before they understand

too many people are willing to believe in something fantasical before they stop and think

ive seen david many of a times over the past 5 years.. its not ment to be entertaining at all. whats to think about? would you go in a box for 44 days and night with nothing but water?

he did it for himself, his ultimate feat.

its hardly a stunt. he could still die from organ failure. magic is an optical illusion. how is this an illusion? this is real.

No I wouldn't, because its bloody stupid. If he did it for himself, why was it so public........

You're confused. What you ment to say was "its hardly magic, it was a stunt".

You think its real, you have no proof. You're trusting a guy who you believe wants to hurt himself, and talks about 2 words per hour. Come on....

He does it all for the hot chicks. Have you ever seen the chicks he gets? You may dislike him, but he makes more money than you and gets hotter women too. Enough said! ;)

BTW: I am not a fan, but I'm also not a hater.

Regardless of anything else, I'll give him credit for staying in a confined space like that, using diapers, not bathing, etc., for 44 days. Do question him not having any nutrients at all.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's less cocky following the experience.

that guy is a fraud/retard. David Copperfield is so much better than him, and less obnoxious too. 2 thumbs up to all the people that makes his life miserable when he was still in the box :punk:

blain is cool enough. I dont think he cheated because there would be no point, i mean he sat in a box. Maybe he got a little bit of protien or whatever... but who knows, it isnt 'magic' it was a test to see how far he coudl push his body (more or less talkin out o my ass just what i have picked up from numerous sources.)

i like blaine...his 'stunts' are not meant to be a magic/illusion show..they're just 'stunts', made to push him to the limit..he says he feels most alive when he does these stunts (buried alive, frozen in time, vertigo, and this stunt)..he wants to create images in peoples minds that they won't forget..like pieces of art that will last in time..which is a lot more than what any other magician does...in my opinion, copperfield (i was a huge fan when i was a kid), who undoubtedly is a master showman, is more of a 'fake' than blaine..i just don't like the cheesy musical numbers and dancers prancing around and his big-budget magic shows...

i prefer the 'in-your-face' street magic that blaine does...there's nothing in between..just you and him...

Even if he had something in the water he still lasted for 44 days all on his own in a box with just water and perhaps glucose in the water. Pretty mad if you ask me.
