BroChaos Veteran Posted October 20, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 20, 2003 ok, i have my outside ip. my router is 192.168.1.1, and my pc is 192.168.1.100. i want to acces this comp using remote desktop. so i go to the port forwarding page on my router. i need the following entries: external port: ___ to _____ tcp protocal: yes/no UDP protocal: yes/no ip address:_____________ can anyone fill in the blanks? :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bangbang023 Veteran Posted October 20, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 20, 2003 brochaos, in your connections settings on the computer, set a static IP address so that your computer will alwaysh ave the same IP no matter what order it is turned on in regards to other computers on the router.
