Help! - Urgent - Please Read This Guys

Recommended Posts

I am working on a PC with an Intel Celeron 700Mhz PC with 256 RAM. It has Windows 2000 Pro. The problem is that the Hard Drive is running in PIO mode in Windows and not in Ultra DMA. I have checked the BIOS and it is set to Ultra DMA Mode, yet only the CD ROM is running at Ultra DMA but the HD is not. How can I fix this guys? Please help.

Well it may not be important to you because maybe you are a genius with a 300 IQ and know absolute everything there is to know about Windows, but me, even with the Master's Degree that I hold in Computer Science; I didn't know how to set that mode on Windows 2000 and this was important to me.

I think Kibler is ****ed because he thought the topic should be IDE DMA problem instead of Help! - Urgent - Please Read This Guys. As it is the title suggests that the guy is having some sort of emergency.
