Cosmin
Hy. Sincer upgrading to CS6 suite I've experienced a big resource consumption for Dreamweaver which seems pretty wierd if I compare it to Photoshop or even Illustrator. Which could be the cause or this is the normal state for it? Thanks
0 ILikeTobacco
CS6 and CS5 both are heavy programs. You have to consider what is actually going on in your screen. You are not just looking at a website wysiwyg. You are also looking at a webbrowser. So right there, you are using the resources of two seperate programs. 0 Cosmin
I know but cs5 as far as I remember was light. It's ok for my needs but cpu seems to stay permanently over 40% which it's odd.
0 ILikeTobacco
Try turning off live and see if that makes a noticably difference.

0 ozgeek
Why do you care? Infact you should be happy that it is actually using the CPU rather than microsteps of the CPU. You put in a CPU and you want to keep it's use low? Same goes for RAM. These are made to be used, not sit idle.
0 Cosmin
but there's such a difference between DW and Photoshop (>).. which is well known for cpu hungry? I care cause working in Dw take time and cpu on this hot weather should stay during my programming session as most as possible under 10% of use. Over 30/40% my cooler is simply taking the silence and other benefits ;)
